A 7-year old boy from Los Angeles who -- like most kids at that age, dream of big boy toys -- has gotten his birthday wish granted.

It started with a Facebook post from Nick Stern, who says his son, Jacob, is a fan of Lamborghinis. Stern wanted to make his son’s birthday party extra special, and asked a local Lamborghini dealer for suggestions.

Stern says, “are there any Lamborghini owners who would like to make a 7 year old believe in dreams?”

The answer was a resounding yes.

Enter the Lamborghini convoy – a fuel-injected parade of wicked fast Aventadors, Gallardos, and Murcielagos, all converging on a quiet, tree-lined street.

The birthday boy and all his friends proceed to lose their minds. Jacob gets to ride shotgun in a batman-themed Aventador, and receives a gift bag afterward.

I can relate to this kid. Not only as a fellow car nerd, but because, in 2012, I also had my Lamborghini dreams come true. Short story: I was an intern at an entertainment magazine in LA, one of my mentors got a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder to test drive for the weekend.

He comes to my desk, tosses me the keys and says, “bring it back in an hour.”

Dreams do come true. Enjoy the video.
