A study by the Boston Consulting Group has found that robots could be doing about 25 percent of jobs that can be automatable in the U.S. by the year 2025.

Researchers say robots currently perform about 10 percent of manufacturing jobs that can be done by machines.

According to Daily Mail, "In turn, labor costs stand to drop by 16 percent on average globally over that time, according to the research."

Some great minds, including Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk, have signed an open letter saying artificial intelligence is nothing to fear and that it will benefit humanity.
