PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a freeway accident involving two trucks continues to disrupt train service northeast of downtown Los Angeles.


The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says service between the Lake and Sierra Madre Villa stations remains shut down early Friday.

City News Service reports the two truck drivers were injured, one seriously, in the accident Thursday afternoon in Pasadena.

The California Highway Patrol says a big-rig truck may have blown a tire before colliding with a box truck at about 1 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 210.
