After NFL players have taken their stance (or knee) to protest the national anthem and the racial injustice in the United States., celebrities have joined in to show their support.
P. Diddy posted a video on Instagram sending his blessings and support.
âMy message to yâall â even though you ainât asking, so please receive it because I rarely give âem in this way â yâall got a chance to do something really, really, really, really, really great tomorrow. If you all do whatever you do in unity, you canât be stopped. Just do the math, man. Do the math, stick together, stand up for each other, ride with each other because believe me, weâre all we got and it has nothing to do with football or business. Yâall are our stars, yâall represent us, yâall are our strong heroes. So show that strength, please.â
Ellen Degeneres tweeted:
"As a football fan, I am proud of the NFL players today. Nothing is more American than the right to peacefully protest."
Others tagged on their support with their distaste over President Trump's comments about the kneeling protesters.
Micheal Moore:
At my 2pm matinee today I will participate in the NFL players protest against Trump's hateful anti-American comments.
Ava DuVernay:
He's not declaring war on NFL and NBA. Owners are his donors. He's declaring way against black people with opinions.
Samuel L. Jackson:
So... How many Sons A' Bitches kneeling tomorrow??!! How many of Dotards boys firing Mothfukkas?? Odds??!!
JK Rowling:
'Privilege.' Some people don't get given millions by Daddy, Donnie. They actually earn it.
