Adidas Email Sparks Outrage

Adidas' poor choice of words has created a new job opening at the company for the email-marketing department.

Adidas sent out an email on Tuesday inviting recipients to share their experience at the Boston Marathon and shop on their website with the subject line “Congrats, you survived the Boston Marathon!”

This caused uproar on Twitter, where users are lashing out at Adidas for their poor choice of wording in the email.

During the 2013 Boston Marathon, three people were killed, and several others were wounded when bombs exploded around the finish line at the marathon.

On Tuesday afternoon, the clothing brand posted an apology for the “insensitive” email.
