Roman Polanski To Return To U.S.?

Via Deadline Hollywood:

After decades in exile, convicted child sex offender and acclaimed film director Roman Polanski might finally come back to the United States to face sentencing for his crime. But only if he gets the conditions that he demands. You see, there was a court decision in his native Poland that found that he was entitled to be sentenced only to probation, as was promised by the judge in his case here in Los Angeles. On that basis, Poland refused to extradite Polanski. Now, Polanski's lawyer is arguing that the deal must be honored. If a Los Angeles judge agrees, the stage would be set for Polanski to return, knowing what his fate would be before he ever sets foot on U.S. Soil again.
