The Supreme Court is ruling in favor of limiting the power of public-sector labor unions.  The ruling handed down this morning involves an Illinois mother who filed suit after being forced to continue paying union membership dues out of her state Medicare checks.  This, despite her desire to have "nothing to do" with the Service Employees International Union.  Lawyers for Pamela Harris argued that accepting public benefits for caring for her disabled son in her own home should not include a mandatory fee to support the lobbying efforts of the SEIU.  The vote from the nation's high court was 5-4 on the last day of their term.
