Records are setting records.
For the first time since the iTunes store started in 2003, sales of downloaded music went down last year.
Sales of CDs took a big dive too, as did music sales overall. But the one bright spot is old-fashioned vinyl records.
LP sales went up 32 percent from 2012, hitting a 22-year high. The format has seen a growing trend that started in the early 90s and really took off in 2007. Vinyl still only accounts for a small portion of music sales, but it's going up while the rest are going down.
