ANAHEIM (CNS) - A brush fire that involved downed or threatened power  lines prompted authorities to close the Riverside (91) Freeway in both  directions at Raymond Avenue this afternoon.

Just before 1 p.m., California Highway Patrol officers closed the  freeway near the city limits of Anaheim and Fullerton, because of the  electrical hazard, CHP Officer Denise Quesada said.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The fire broke out about 12:30 p.m. in hills next to the freeway,  Anaheim police Lt. Bob Dunn said. The blaze is mostly on the south side of the  freeway, though there are also ``some issues'' on the north side, Dunn said.

It was unclear if any power lines fell.

California Highway Patrol officers were working to get some vehicles out  of the path of the westbound fire near Lemon Street, Quesada said.

The fire line is about 200 hundred yards long, Dunn said.
