LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Los AngelesCounty prosecutors declined today to file a felony case against rapper Kanye West in connection with an alleged  attack July 19 on a photographer at Los AngelesInternationalAirport, but  referred the matter to the City Attorney's Office to determine if a misdemeanor  case should be filed.

In a charge evaluation worksheet, the District Attorney's Office cited insufficient evidence to file charges against West.

A prosecutor noted in the one-page document that the freelance photographer “did not sustain significant injury” and was treated and released the same day.

The run-in occurred after the rap star -- the father of reality TV star Kim Kardashian's daughter, North -- arrived at the Bradley International Terminal.
