Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department say they'll maintain a "uniformed presence" at Valencia High School today after a 15-year-old student made what is being called an 'implied threat' over Snapchat.

News Source LA shared the Snapchat photo on its Twitter account last night. The images shows a gun with a five-word slang phrase captioned above it.

"Tomorrow's gonna be F****** lit," the caption warns.

Authorities say the student was questioned, but not arrested after sending the photo to five friends over Snapchat on Thursday. One of those friends contacted authorities according to Lt. Salvador Becerra.

Detectives say that despite the fact they have determined that the threat was "not credible" the Santa Clarita station will maintain their presence at the high school.

Snapchat is an app people use to sent a photo or 'snap' to another snapchatter, but it can only be viewed by the recipient for a limited amount of time before it disappears forever.
