Making cell phone calls during a flight might come with sticker shock.

Ever since the FCC announced they'll consider allowing cell phone calls to be made in flight, not a lot of people are happy about it -- they don't want to sit next to someone gabbing on the phone all flight long.

But if it is allowed, those calls may be expensive -- maybe several dollars a minute. Some overseas carriers allow phone calls and the price is sky high. Many airlines say they won't allow in flight calls anyway.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Delta, Southwest and Virgin America say in-flight cell phone use is "virtually off the table."
